Next System Meeting Information: Here are the details for the next System Information Session for Key Communicators and School Council Chairs. Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Topic: Personalized Learning in the CBE – In this meeting you will hear from and ask questions of a panel of principals and Dr. Ronna Mosher, Director, Curriculum & Design who will describe what personalization “looks like” in CBE Schools. CBE in the News Most of you have probably heard about CBE budget issues in the news recently. It is important for all parents to know that the budget is still under development and no final decisions have been made. The budget will be presented to the Board of Trustees at a public meeting on June 1, 2010. At that time, the Board will discuss how the CBE can best allocate funds for the coming year. Don’t Miss Election 2010 Event May 12! What could be more important than helping Calgary children achieve their highest personal potential? And what can you do about it? Come out to find out how you can support public education. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about what it takes to be a trustee, tour the Boardroom and more.
