During the School Council meeting Janet Pletz discussed her role as the Literacy Support Teacher. She gave some suggestions on how we can all help our students improve in their literacy skills. One of the top suggestions read to your kids everyday.
Dr. Slater discussed the Alberta Initiative For School Improvement (AISI) and asked that everyone complete the survey that Alberta Learning has put online for parent input. The link to the survey follows: Personalized Learning Survey.
The Parent Association recognized how successful the Coco Brook's Pizza fundraiser was and reviewed some other projects currently under way.
The next meeting will be April 30, 2012.

Coco Brooks Pizza Pickup Reminder
Thank you for your support of the recent Coco Brooks fundraiser! Just a reminder that pizza orders will be available for pick-up at the school this Thursday (Mar 15) between 7:00-8:30pm.
