Running Together for Terry Fox- One Person, One Community

McKenzie Towne School will be hosting a Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 28. We will begin our event with a short assembly and video presentation before heading outside to run a supervised course around the perimeter of the school field. All students will be participating so we ask parents to ensure your child has appropriate outdoor footwear for running/walking. This event is designed to raise awareness and funds for cancer research; therefore we are asking students and staff to contribute a "Toonie for Terry" if possible. We will collect donations in the classrooms and at the office. Parents are welcome to attend the assembly staring at 8:30 in the gym and then join us for the run/walk that will wrap up at about 9:30.
